Kaanchi Chopra is an artist and designer working with plant matter and natural fiber. Through textiles, objects and installations, her practice restores attentiveness to our local ecologies.
Trained at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Chopra has held residencies at Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte and Mobilier National. Guided by the belief that ecological repair begins with emotional reconnection, her work draws on ethnobotanical research to challenge plant blindness.
